We had a great 4th of July weekend, hope you all did too!
I finished stitching my Voodoo Sampler, I had so much fun with it!! Let's see~~ we have of course a voodoo doll or two, glass bottle for catching evil spirits, gris gris bag, chicken foot~~etc... I've been wanting to do this since our trip to New Orleans last year. I really want to go back and spend more time there~such a cool place.
I also have a pic of a class piece from last Sept. I'm thinking of releasing it at St Charles.

I miss New Orleans all the time. Your voodoo sampler makes me smile. Did you make it to the voodoo shop? There used to be an old "witch" who ran it back in the early 80's. When my mom got remarried she showed up at the reception at Cafe Dumonde on the waterfront and blessed their marriage! It was a great surprise. I will certainly pick up that chart when you release it.
The Hoodoo Voodoo piece is fantastic! Love it!!! And I hope you release that class piece as well. What fun!

I did go to a voodoo shop! So cool!! Although at that point I'd one too many hurricaines in me. How cool about the witch and the wedding reception!!
I picked out the frame for Hoodoo Voodoo, I just love it and can't wait to show you all!! I also picked up The Olde Settlement finished it all it's glory. I love it, I hop you will too.
