Oh my gosh!!! The weather today has been gorgeous! In the 60's~in Ohio~on Dec.27th!! Mariah and I took the dogs for a walk today, and I just came in from outside where I had a fire going. It's really windy (my favorite time to be outside) and warm!! I know it's only temporary, but what a great gift!

Just finished stitching the tombstone design, am now hoping to have Cape Cod Girls finished by Sunday. I need to get busy with my freebie for Nashville, have a couple ideas, just need to get one of them graphed!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
We are having some wild weather here! It has to be in the 50's right now!! It almost feels like Spring out there.

Hey Sherry and Siobhan! Thanks for your comments! I have Cape Cod Girls about 1/2 stitched. An A&E (Thanks to Laurie) is on it's way to Valley House Primitives so they can work their magic! Charity is stitching ABC Hornbook, I'm about 1/3 done with a small Tombstone design, Eve is stitching Earth Sampler, and I'm getting ready to design a freebie for Nashville. Do you guys like seeing pics before market? I wasn't sure if I put pics up too soon before St. Charles.
This is all still fairly new to me and I really appreciate your input.

Full Moon!
If you get a chance, check out the moon tonight! I saw it this morning on my way to work and it was totally incredible!! I'm hoping it's not cloudy out tonight so I can do a little moon gazing!
I am slowly getting Cape Cod's Girls stitched. There will be a companion piece~Cape Cod's Boys. Also in the works~ 2 word designs, a Quaker, The Rule of Three, and a game board.

The Heretic's Daughter
Dark, dreary and rainy. A good day to stay in and read. I just finished The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent. Wow! What a good book. You will never look at the Salem Witch Trials in the same way again.
I also finished designing an Adam and Eve sampler, I just need to order the silks and get it sent out to be stitched.

Here I go!
Here is Witches Nine ready to go to the framers, sorry about the bad pic, but you get the idea.
I love reading other peoples' blogs and thought I'd try my hand at it. I am not very computer savvy, so am still working on the layout.
I dropped off Witches Nine and Ichabod Seabury at the framers yesterday, they should be ready to pick up in a week! I'm starting to work on a big hornbook sampler, and have lots more ideas!
It is really windy here today, so I'm taking advantage of it and am hanging the laundry out on the clothesline. Nothing like the smell of clothes dried outside! (wish I could bottle it!) Sometimes I think I am part Amish! My favorite thing to do is to stay at home and stitch, which is what I'll be doing today.
