Ok, here we go!

So, this is a giveaway for the cool tin frame necklace! I'll include the wicked freebie and instructions for putting it together (it is way easy!) thanks to Bonnie at Valley Framing!
To be entered~just leave a comment to this post. Since I am a huge Halloween freak, it would be great if you wanted to suggest any ideas for future designs~Halloween or not~or if you just want to tell me why you like Halloween/and or witchy things!

Just so there isn't a disappointed winner~the giveaway is for the tin frame only, not the finished Wicked necklace (which is mine and I love to wear it!!)

Yay! I'm so glad you liked my idea! :D As for Halloween design ideas, well you're so good at designing, I think you have more ideas than I do! lol! What about the Halloween bunny? I know, I'm weird.

No ideas as of right now (it's early here) but I would love to be entered. My BFF's 50th bd is in October and she would love something like this.

So being a mermaid fan, I think a halloween mermaid should be in your design mix ;0

Can't you see her with her underwater friends all ready for a halloween bash!

Love the necklace and the chance to win.

I'd love to be entered in the contest. What a conversation starter to have that hanging around your neck!

I can picture designs of witches in training.. teaching little witches-to-be, reading from their books of spells. Just a thought.

Wow! Please enter me.
I think you are doing a great job with your designs.
I love Halloween designs just because they can have that primitive look. Years ago it was hard to find designs, but now there are just too many to keep up with.
Thanks for your generous give-away

I definitely want a chance to win this one!

I have been trying to think of something to suggest, but I keep thinking about Annie's idea!!

Or how about a design that incorporates some of the flowers/plants/herbs that might be used for witchy purposes! Of course, there would be some sort of cool saying included - perhaps one that would read like spell or recipe!

Oooh, I'd love to be entered! I know you said Halloween designs, but I'd love to see more A&E designs from you, and a Primitive Needle take on Noah's Ark.

I would love to be entered in your contest please, and how about a witch sampler that incorporates "poison apples" as well. Witches and apples have always been connected and not just with Snow White.

My vote for an upcoming project/idea would be Frankenstein. I love him and there aren't that many patterns available on the market depicting this man of green and bolts!!! LOL Please enter me in your givaway, thanks!!

Enter me!

I love Halloween, my house is orange and black all october. I have a fondness for jack o'lanterns and witches.

I'd love to be entered into your giveaway. I'm kind of with Margaret on some kind of Halloween Bunny. And I'm with Siobhan too on the A&E designs.

Oooh, please enter me in the draw!

I think I like Halloween because I've always loved witch tales - Baba Yaga in a book of translated Russian fairy tales was a great favourite - and the taste of pumpkin.

Yeah, how about a Baba Yaga design? With her hut on chicken legs, surrounded by a human-skull-topped fence, cool!

I would love to have a change in this give away.
Ideas for patterns ... as a pagan I love all the witchy/halloween patterns :) But witches hollow (on which I'm working right now) is the top. That is so beautiful !!!

The necklace is really cute! That was a great idea for a giveaway.

Can't think of any new ideas for you,but I do like Halloween designs.

Great necklace. I would love to be entered. I love pretty much anything Halloween. I'd like to a Sleepy Hollow design.

Oh, oh count me in!!!! I still want a Valentine's piece like your Earth Sampler and Yule Sampler ;-).

Oh, what a great giveaway - I love all your Halloween designs! I don't know why Halloween has captured my imagination at this late stage of my life, but I try not to ask too many questions - upsets the old guard inside in my head, hahaha.

As to future designs - gosh, there are so many -I like the one with the witches in training somebody mentioned - and Becky's mermaid idea - I can see a sunken ship with ghosts guarding the treasure chests and the mermaid witch and her friends - a few skeletons, maybe someone just walking the plank when the ship went down, hahaha - it's too much fun to contemplate!

Halloween is not just my favorite holiday, it really is the only one you can celebrate until your end and after. I have always loved it and start planning my costume or theme months in advance. No one is allowed to visit unless they come in costume and all the kids in the neighborhood I'm sure think I'm insane.

I'd love it! I saw Wicked on Broadway, and I'd love to make it! How about some sweet mice for Halloween? They do get a bad rap sometimes! haha

I'd love to be entered in the contest, and I'm just hoping to win a tin frame, because I carefully read your post. :)

Found you by linking from Sherry's Heart♥

I think Halloween buttons, might be fun to explore as a design element.

Nicole said...

I vote for Catherine's idea - I would looooove to see a Halloween design that incorporates witchy herbs! Maybe the design could show a witch's pantry with bundles of herbs drying from the rafters, and a witch dropping some mandrake root in a cauldron :-)

aprilmecheelesdulllife said...

I would loved to be entered for the tin frame. Fall & Halloween is my favorite time of the year. I see a design with maybe an owl in a old tree at night with leaves blowing and cemetery around it. Or a Trick or Treat scene. Just thoughts...

CATHI said...

Hi, I would like to be entered! I am a great fan of your designs... :o) I love Halloween - it is my favourite time of the year. I have some boxes for every holiday full of decoration material, but the boxes for Halloween are the biggest ones! It is the same as with Joanie - everything black and orange and witchy (I love witches of all Halloween characters) :o)

As for an idea for designing: what about a design featuring the witch from the fairytale "Hansel & Gretel" which is originally a German one? Witch and both children - forest at night - gingerbread house...? Or any other "spooky" fairytale?

Witchy inspiration for new designs! ;o)

I would love to be entered into the draw for the necklace frame please. We don't really celebrate Halloween here in the UK, but I am slowly becoming a fan of witchy things and especially love tombstone angels. Could I suggest a few spiders and webs?

Thanks for the giveaway! I love the colors in this chart.

I love Halloween because of the colors and the time of year and the total lack of stress attached to the holiday - it's just a day to have fun.

Wickedly wonderful. Please put my name in the cauldron.

Just found your site a while back(link from Notforgotten Farms) and have saved in my favorites.
Hoping to find some time soon to go back and checkout the older posts. Your designs are wonderful. Halloween has always been such a fun time of the year for me. We always have a big
bon-fire/Halloween party in the woods. Everyone brings pumpkins for carving and once all are carved we have the lighting of the pumpkins. How great they look lined up on the fence. We also have had hayrides to add to the fun. The woods provides such a spooky backdrop for your
imagination to run wild with fear.

My idea for you is based off of our Halloween Fun.
How about a witchy party in the woods. Big fire burning and witches gathered round. With other witches coming in a wagon, being pulled by big black cats! Tree and leaves blowing and jack-o-lanterns hanging in the trees to light their way. Oh What FuN!

Thanks for offering the giveaway. I would love to be entered.

I love your designs! What a wonderful give away! Please enter me.

For Halloween ideas, what about a design with mummies, Dracula, a sppoky graveyard with a dead tree, rickety picket fence and leaves blowing around. I love the suggestion of a pirate ship, perhaps Blackbeard's ghost is walking the deck. I think his wife Aldetha Teach was considered a witch! A primitive alphabet samper would be wonderful especially with a witchy quote.

Another idea would be a horizontal gameboard such as parchesi or backgammon. Chinese checkers with fall/halloween colors would be nice also.

I would love to be entered for your contest. And I am with Siobhan... I would love to see more A&E and I like her idea of the PN version of Noah's Ark. :)

I love that necklace! I am so glad you are doing this as a giveaway. My lovely creepy little Halloween tree needs a tree skirt. I think that would be great new project!

This is a lovely idea of making it into a necklace which means you can carry it around more often with you. If I was even slightly talented in designing I would make up small hanging designs of gravestones. Whenever you enter really old cemetaries you can see some really unique stones. The shapes and designs are amazing and a collection of them to hang on a small black tree for decorations would be really neat. Some of the unusual names seen would also go along with them. Just a thought.

I would love to win this necklace tin to make my own to have one just like yours!!!! Great new designs and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because I love the colors .... especially in the stitching world. I love A&E too so maybe more of that line? pj

Thanks for the chance at the great give away! Halloween...hmmm..like the charms "spell" bag, how about an amulet bag with a small sampler: Eye of newt, Legs of spider, taunt me not or you'll see fire! Hey, that is actually pretty good. Don't like the you'll see fire, but can't come up with anything better right now.

Hi Lisa,
Here I am hoping and hoping I can win the necklace design frame. I would so love to be able to stitch this and wear it. It would be so much "Wicked Fun". Please enter me.
How I am hoping and hoping I win...sorry all you other entries...but I really want to win...is this wicked of me or not?? LOL

Lisa - I saw this design on your blog before you went to market in Nashville. I called my local shop owner and begged her to bring back a copy. I forgot to ask her when I was in last week if she was successful - so maybe I will get lucky and win the pattern and tin.
Your designs are fantastic and I don't have any ideas to improve upon what you do. stevemarty@msn.com

I think being born in October Halloween has always been special for me. It's the start of fall and all things that go with it - especially pumpkins! I love them in every shape and color they come in! And witches! Several days I dressed as one - green skin and all - but I was a good witch and pulled no pranks.

Please enter me in your necklace contest. My birthday is Oct. 31 and that would be a perfect gift for me.

oooh.... love that one. Looks really nifty..

As for a halloween design... hmmmm.... a witch's garden?

Melissa said...

Hey Lisa! What about an October Calendar design, but centered around a witch's preparing for Samhain/Oct. 31. Preparing herbs, planning the feast, making some charms, putting a fresh broom by the front door. I don't know...I kind of see it in my mind--the top band could be her kitchen, then various blocks for a certain date and what she's doing. And of course the bottom band is the gathering/celebration.

I love your designs - future ideas: For Sale pumpkin patch farm where you pick your own pumpkins and the customers are random witches. Bringing pumpkins up to the counter to be weighed and sold. We have a pick your own pumpkin farm and they have it set up for hay rides, you can buy corn stalks, booths were jams and crafts are sold (witches could be selling potions or cauldrons or brooms or haunted signs) etc. Love to be entered if it isn't too late. Like more pumpkins in your designs. Trixie Kinniard, Lexington KY
