This is Lisa's daughter, Mariah. I just wanted to let everybody know that while driving to work, she was swept away in the river. She had been missing since yesterday at 6 a.m. but this morning, firefighters found her body in her car. She was the best person I know. She was also more than a fantastic wife and mother, the best any of us could ask for.

It must have been so difficult to write that entry, but I hope the responses from the stitching community are of some comfort.
As others have said, your mother was a talented designer, and she will be missed by many. I've only had a chance to stitch one of her designs ("Witchy"), but the finished piece is sitting by my computer as I type. Although it's Halloween-themed, I've left it out for several months since I like the design so much.
